So how long, have you been trying, to strategically grow your small business and or service?

And on average, (just guess) if you have to.

How much of your extremely hard earned money, have you constantly thrown at it, trying to build or grow your business and or service?

Without a doubt, the traditional advertising and or promotional route, can be outrageously expensive at times. Would you not agree? So the $64,000 dollar question begs asking.

What makes you so convinced, your business and or service, couldn’t consistently profit, from some really cheap advertising ideas and or marketing strategies?

So let’s have a closer look under the hood, and you be the ultimate judge.Fair enough?

If Your Ultimate Goal Is To Systematically And Strategically Grow Your Business And Or Service Why Get All Hung Up On Your Approaches?

Case in point. Let’s suppose you own a single location, retail appliance center. And you sell all of the latest, cutting edge gadgetry on the market. And at affordable prices too.

However, because you, (like the) vast majority of your local competition.You spend a ton of money, on those outrageously expensive, traditional, local prime time TV, radio and newspaper ads etc.

And let’s be brutally honest here.Yon can easily average, anywhere, from a low, (if you can truly call it that), of $125 to $475 dollars per lead.Ouch.

Which means, if you were to try and put things into a micro marketing context, for just a moment.Let’s say you run a series, of outrageously expensive, local prime time radio ads.

And your average cost per lead,(CPL) is somewhere in the neighborhood of $350 per lead. Not exactly cheap, right?

This Is All The More Reason Why You Have To Understand And Take The Total Lifetime Customer Value Metrics Into Consideration!

Let’s say, even though your series of ads, (and or) promotions, generated a total of 25 (or X) number of, brand new first time customers.(Not bad, right?)

What if ten of them, came in and spent just $100 dollars each, on some type of close out sale inventory. And even though they saved 35 (or X% off) the normal retail price.

For whatever reasons, they never came back to your store again. Ouch.How did you make out on those ten?

(And you best believe, the aforementioned situation, happens to tons of retailers, far more frequently, than you can possibly imagine, and or fully appreciate.)

If You’re Not Fully Aware Certain Customer Or Client Acquisition Numbers And Or Situations Will Definitely Work Against Not For You!

Let’s take a closer look at your numbers. These one timers cost you roughly, $350 dollars each, just to get them initially through the door, right?

And they spend a little over $100 dollars each and vanished.

You Definitely Don’t Want To Promote Or Advertise Your Way Into Bankruptcy Do You?

Wanna quickly do the math? Don’t bother, you’ll only feel worse. On the other hand, what if you could not only invest, just $75 (or) X amount of dollars, on the exact same type of semi qualified lead.Say what?

And not only get them in your store.But even if they only spent the same $100 dollars each. You could still not only profit off of them, but get them to constantly refer you new business as well? Sound good?

Case in point. You know that really popular bakery, located just three stores down, in your same mini strip mall.

You know the one, both you and a certain percentage of your professionally trained staff, has been literally patronizing for years. And you’ve know the owners and two of their sons for years.

Yea that one.

So you go to the owner and propose the following. Set up a freaking huge punch or fish bowl. And offer local small business owners and or service providers, the chance to win $300  (or X) amount of dollars in free bakery goodies.

And the first grand prize winner.Which will be chosen by one of the staff members, at the beginning of each month, starting in May – September.Or whatever particular dates you ultimately decide to choose.

And all the local business owners/service providers only. All they do is drop their business card in the bowl.Or write the name of their business or service, (and contact info), on an index card or piece of paper etc.

And your sign makes it clear, this particular free drawing is only for local small business owners, service providers or aspiring entrepreneurs only.

Who Says Some Really Cheap Advertising Ideas And Or Tactics Can’t Be The Springboard To Some Major Long Term Profits!

And someone from the bakery will contact them, at the beginning of the next month.

There will be, a 1st, 2nd and 3rd grand prize winner announced as well, at the beginning of each month.

The 2nd place grand prize winner, automatically saves 50 (or X%) off their next three or X number of purchases, which have to all be made within the next 30 or X number of days.

And the 3rd grand prize winner of the month, they automatically save 25 (or X%) off their next two or X number of purchases.

This of course, is the bakeries approach, if they’re not currently using, opt in email marketing strategies and or tactics.

The college students, will wait at least two days. And follow up by personal phone call. And reach out to all the businesses, who didn’t or haven’t yet responded to their 1st email message.

And tell the owners, they have 48 (or X) number of hours, to come and save 75 or X% off any purchase. No minimum purchase requirements.Say what?

  1. Life time customers help build fortunes Mark. People trip over themselves spending big money to get new business, playing a numbers game. Meanwhile, building bonds allows money to keep flowing in. Plus lifetime customers endorse you, leading to new customers in organic fashion.
