So What The Heck Is Direct Response Marketing Anyway? (And Why does It Matter?)

What type of outrageously expensive traditional advertising are you currently doing or seriously thought about doing? And how’s it going? Do you honestly feel like you’re getting your money’s worth? If not what specific plan of action are you about t take?

So what about at least inexpensively A/B split testing some type of market tested direct response marketing strategies or tactics? Huh? Entrepreneur “what” the heck do you mean you’re not currently familiar with this potentially profitable form of advertising or marketing?

It may well turn out to be the proven advertising or proven marketing system which finally makes your current and future traditional advertising campaigns incredibly profitable.

And not just because you or your major competitors start “magically” using it. Huh? You have to continuously work at it in order to first become semi competent ad then start to actually master the basic proven fundamentals.

And those who do will definitely reap the current and long term results. While those who don’t, that’s an entirely different matter..

Why Proven Direct Response Marketing Strategies Help You Or Your Major Competitors make A Whole Lot More Money Faster!

If you want you can definitely keep writing checks and wasting your extremely hard money on those outrageously expensive, dismally performing traditional advertising campaigns. Where all you or your major competitors barely manage to is temporarily get in front of a highly general massive audience.

So you’re really not able to laser focus on your ideal target audience and as a direct result your ads basically fizzle.  And do very little to increase your companies revenue.

(Entrepreneur take notice to “what” tends to happen more times than not when you or your major competitors at least inexpensively A/B split test some type of potentially profitable direct response marketing strategies or tactics.)

So watch “how” in this hypothetical marketing example, strictly for marketing illustration purposes only.  Let’s say a local (expert) tennis instructor decides they want to start earning extra money by offering private one on one tennis lessons.

And they’re targeting the upscale parents and individuals in their immediate area. They’re targeting the parents whose kids, (say ages) 15- 18) want to learn to play tennis at a much higher level than can currently be attained via the private school system or local YMCA etc.

And they’re also targeting adults (ages) 20 and up who have direct or indirect access to cash or credit cards. And they or someone they know or are related to can easily afford lessons at $200 or X dollars an hour.

Some Form Of Strategic Direct Response Marketing Strategies Or Tactics Work For Even Non Marketing Experts!

Case in point. Let’s say the this not exactly super marketing savvy local expert tennis instructor invests a few bucks, (certainly not a fortune to initially begin with anyway), in a reputable paid email service provider which also includes a basic sign up form and basic landing page creator at no additional cost.

And they either pay you or I or someone else qualified to create a rather basic sign up form or lead page for them. (Or if push comes to shove maybe they decide to initially try and build it their self. Because remember entrepreneur, ‘you don’t have to get it right in order to get it going.’

Now they can start strategically promoting/marketing their free drawing concept in order to build a list of semi qualified prospects for literally pennies on the dollar.

(Take a look at this rather basic sign up form style list building page, (practically!) any one, (including you!) could make using aweber-s rather basic sign up form editor, inside of twenty minutes or less. Or they or you could pay yours truly or any other qualified source to do it for for you. And be up and running within 24 hours or less.)

Entrepreneur Don’t Or Stop Letting The Tech Stuff Stand In The Way Of Of You Moving Ahead In A Major Way!

(Extremely important note: For the record and technically speaking. You typically a “sign up form” on your website or blog, in order to build your opt in email list. There’s some code you get from in this particular case aweber and you simply paste in onto your site, save it and refresh your page.

And if you or whomever you hire or put in charge of doing it, has done it correctly. Going forward your sign up form, (which you can constantly edit and test things as often as you want,.

A “lead capture page” on the other hand is a completely separate-stand alone- page, with it’s own unique “URL” (Uniform Resource Locator) (web address.) It’s a stand alone page which yo can actually place on either your business cards or flyers or special report etc.

Truth told, the unique web address “URL” probably needs a separate unique domain so you can forward your lead capture page address to it. So whenever someone types your unique domain name into a browser, it automatically redirects to you or your major competitors lead capture page.

Strategically Building Your Own Opt In Email List Starts To Give You Or Your Major Competitors The Edge!

The above “sign up form” would typically used on by pasting the code directly onto either your web page, blog post or your websites side bar widget area. And your “lead capture page”  typically acts as an entirely separate, 9stand alone) stand alone page.

If the tennis instructor (for whatever reasons) doesn’t have a website or blog. They would simply use (create) a stand alone webpage and start adding the web address using the domain forwarding strategy mentioned above. In order to start building their laser targeted opt in email list.

(Aweber has even more advanced templates for the tennis instructor to at least sample. But this at least gets them or you up and going, correct? Agreed.)

The free drawing strategy allows the instructor or you, to create a list of laser targeted prospects, for literally pennies on the dollar, choose your 1st grand prize winner. And immediately follow up with all 99% of your grand second prize follow up winners.

Using either pre -written autoresponder follow up -drip campaign- messages. Or you can also use a series of previously unscheduled, “broadcast” email messages. Or  combination of the the two.

But directing your laser targeted audience to enter your free drawing is a form of proven direct response marketing in action. Any questions?
