First of all. Here’s to anyone who’s attempting to successfully run. Any type of offline retail store or service of any kind. You almost never stop facing various types of challenges, correct?

And trying to run a successful retail clothing store. (Even  a single location!) Is not the exception, correct? But here’s the good news.

Your independently owned retail clothing store. Needs a steady increase in both current and future customers. Plus a steady percentage of current customers. Consistently returning. And spending more each time they do, agreed?

So “how” in the world? Do you both systematically as well as strategically. Get your current and future customer acquisition strategies. To systematically multi task for you! (Say what? 😎

One of the most straight forward strategies for doing so! Is not totally relying on your potentially expensive. On or offline. One dimensional, traditional ad campaigns!

In other words. There’s absolutely nothing wrong. With structuring your various, non traditional marketing and promotional campaigns.

So even after you stop being as proactive as you have been previously in the past! You and or your major competitors. Can still generate some positive, viral word of mouth and mouse buzz!

Which goes a mighty long way towards generating more revenue. For literally pennies on the dollar.

This Is How You Get Your Best Customers To Consistently Help Spread The Word!

Strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. (Of any and all of these potentially profitable marketing strategies and tactics.) Are based off you knowing. And having a pretty realistic idea.

What your ideal customers. Total lifetime customer value metrics are. This way. You can at least inexpensively test. An incredibly simple strategy like the following.

Every time your customers buy anything. You or your staff. Automatically hand three of your single sided business cards.

You print their first and last name on the back of the card. In either the lower left or right side. And in the middle of the card. You or your staff put a date. Which is a maximum of 45 or X number of days out.

Every customer who refers at least customers. Before the 45 or X day window expires.

Always At Least Test Various Types Of Ethical Bribes! (In Order To Continuously Build Your Opt In Email List!)

You will allow them. To buy any one shirt and tie of their choice. At your actual hard cost. And they get to choose any tie or shirt of their choice!

(As long as they’re on your VIP opt in email list!) Otherwise, their choices are limited. You’ll find out what you do for the very first customer. Who refers three customers. Within 45 or X number of days of their purchase.
