So Let’s Talk About Some Creative Marketing Incentives! Part Two

This particular question is aimed directly at any and all offline mom and pop small business owners and or service providers. Have you ever attempted to use any type of outrageously expensive, local billboard ads? (I sincerely hope not.)

The main reason being. Un targeted mass marketing simply costs you way too much money. For the dismal returns it typically generates. Don’t you agree?

On the other hand ladies & gentlemen. Simply by constantly or inexpensively and periodically testing some type of creative marketing incentives. It’s more than likely. You will discover some inexpensive ways of getting either directly or indirectly in front of your target audience.

Hopefully you’re okay with making these particular discoveries, correct?

Entrepreneur We’re Merely Talking About Testing Some Pretty Basic Marketing Techniques!

Say strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. Suppose you own a non franchised retail furniture store. And it doesn’t matter how many local stores you currently or will have in the not so distant future.

So you or your major competitors might inexpensively test the following marketing strategies and tactics. First, in order to attract the moms and grand moms in their customer base.

You or your major competitors hold a quarterly free drawing. Where each quarter the 1st grand prize winner wins the following. A ten or X thousand dollar master bedroom set. (Truth told the actual hard cost is only $5,000 dollars or half the typical retail price.)

Ten or X number of second grand prize winners automatically win a deluxe sofa valued a bare bones minimum of $2,000 or X amount of dollars.

And on the market tested lead capture page. Each opt in email subscriber who enters the free drawing. They have a simple check box indicating whether they’re male or female. (Just a rather subtle strategic way of segmenting this particular list. 😎

Once Or After You’ve Strategically Identified A Specific Of Your Primary Market! (By All means Start Over Delivering For Them!)

So the ten or X number of 2nd grand prize winners who are women. As long as they drag a friend with them to you or your major competitors showroom.

Here’s the next leg of your long term affordable marketing test. At least 15 to 25 local women who are on your opt in email list. Will automatically become instant 3rd prize winners.

And they will receive a dozen roses sent to either their job and or place of business. 😀 Imagine the short and long term reaction of at least a few ladies who get wind. That either their co-worker or employer got a dozen roses from a local furniture store on their birthday and or wedding anniversary. (Say what?)

Even though they didn’t win either the 1st or 2nd price. X number of local women got a dozen roses delivered to them. This move certainly can’t hurt the furniture stores positive word of mouth or mouse campaign, correct? And please also consider the following.

Who Says You Can’t Effectively Promote Your Products Or Services For A Fraction Of The Traditional Cost?

Keep in mine the extremely marketing savvy retail furniture store owner. Will get those flowers at the actual hard cost from a local non franchised florist.

Who’s one of their best Joint Venture (JV) or cross promotional partners. They should more than happy to get exposure to some potential long term repeat customers. For literally pennies on the dollar, correct?

And that gesture will also build a tremendous amount of long term on and offline goodwill on the part of the retailer, correct? Local women will be constantly calling, texting and telling whomever will listen. 😀

Meanwhile for literally pennies on the dollar. These extremely savvy vendors. Will be able to inexpensively implement some proven creative marketing incentives.

And create a ton of business and build some goodwill for doing so. Are you okay with that?
