Increase Sales:Why It Often Doesn’t Cost More Than A Mere 67 Cents Per Lead To Do So!Part Two

As you previously discovered in part one of this ongoing series about, “how” some extremely savvy  entrepreneurs such as yourself, can use some rather (brain dead) simple, cookie cutter marketing techniques  and strategies, to dramatically increase salescorrect?

To the the tune of a staggering $250,000 to $270,000 dollars gross profit, for a mere $.67 cents per  lead! And all inside of 12 short months or less!

And the best part is, you’re (literally) not risking your shirt, ( and or losing) any sleep at night, because your    highly  leveraged commodities position just received the (oh so dreaded) margin call notification from your  broker!

Or you’re not taking a chance by investing heavily in some (supposedly) can’t miss, “next big thing” IPO stock  offering!

And within one year or less, it’s become totally clear, and painfully obvious, not only is this start up not going to  make it!

But in all likelihood your pipe dream of making a killing on this particular stock, has quickly turned into  another IL advised blunder on your part!

Aw yes, the real world!Well cheer up entrepreneur!Because all is certainly not lost!Part two will reveal at least three more incredibly simple ways, to increase sales, and leverage your initial $250,000 windfall profit, without taking any additional “risk” whatsoever!”

Who Else Wants To Discover How To Increase Sales Without Necessarily Having To Increase Your Risk?

Just to quickly recap: as you recall from part one,our extremely savvy (upscale) local car dealer ship owner(s), that also happens to be a majority owner in a local Real Estate brokerage firm.

Whenever they had an appointment for a test drive for one of their luxury Beamers, or if they sold and or leased one, they simply left a two sided flyer on the drivers seat of the car in question.

And side (A.) had a big, bold red headline that asked a simple question:“Do you know anybody that’s currently looking for a luxury home?”

And then there was a picture of one of the brokers luxury homes and or condos or townhouses for sale etc.

Along with the web address of their mobile responsive WordPress blogs lead capture page, so they can receive periodic updates, on the specific types of property listings, they indicated they’re interested in on the short form they filled out!(See “why” segmenting your opt in list is so vitally important!)

And because they have on average, about 300 new and used cars on their lot and one particular prospect/ eventual customer reads the flyer and just seven short months later, purchases a $4.5 million dollar home!

And the 6% sales commission equals a cool $270,000 dollars!($4,500,000 x.06% = $270,000 big ones!) And because each two sided, (multi) colored 8.5 x 11 copy cost just $.67 cents each!

And they run off 300 sheets and place them inside of all their cars, that’s “why” it only cost them $201 dollars to produce this gross windfall profit!(300 cars x $.67 cents per lead = $201 dollars in two sided printing costs.)

Increasing Sales Is A Natural Extension Of Catering To Your Target Audience!

And because they have two separate dealerships, with at least 300 new & used cars apiece on them, at any given time! It’s quite possible, they might sell two to ten commercial and or residential properties per year, (or more) using this one brain dead simple throwaway marketing strategy!Don’t you agree?

But let’s now quickly talk about at least three more incredibly simple ways, they can “leverage” this non conventional marketing strategy, in order to create (both) more on and offline, positive word of mouth and mouse buzz!

And increase sales while doing so!

1.) Strategy #one: This first (hopefully) positive word of mouth and mouse generating strategy, is merely an extension of any potential prospect that (either) test drivers a Beamer, leases and or buys a car!

As the sales rep is setting the original“test drive” appointment by phone. If they’re speaking with a guy, they will ask for permission, for marketing demographic purposes, to ask a few key questions.

And just for granting permission, they will be given upon completion of the “test drive”,an additional $20 dollar gas card! (Or whatever their best reasonably priced market tested thingy/inducement that produces the best response!)

Because remember, they also get a $20 dollar gas card, just for coming in and completing the “test drive!”

They’ll ask if they are (A.) married and or (B.) if they’re currently single, but have a steady girlfriend? If they’re married and or single but have a steady girlfriend (and or), if they’re currently dating someone.

If they purchase and or lease a car, they will be told by the car sales rep, to be sure and “open” the trunk asap! 😎 Because when they do, they will discover (much to their surprise and delight)a three foot Teddy bear wrapped in plastic, along with an extremely popular gourmet box of chocolates!

Plus a coupon for  “VIP new customers only to save 30% off” to join a local (joint venture partner) florists annual “Sweet hearts Club” list!

Where they can send flowers at least five times a year, for just one low initial price!(Not to worry, we’ll cover “what” to do for the lady prospect/ eventual customers in part three!)

2.) Strategy # two: Next, upon completion of the “test drive”, the sales rep will ask them, “what’s” their number one complaint about car companies and how they go about X?

And “what” specifically would they do to change it and or make it better, if they were in charge! This is where they discover “where” at least some of the major holes in their operation are!

And “what” they must do asap in order to fix it!(And of course, they will be taking into major consideration, the fact that both of these vitally important points of views, will be coming from both men & women’s perspectives!

3.) Strategy # three: And they will also start an active social media marketing campaign on both twitter, Facebook and Pintrest to begin with!

For example, let’s suppose they discover from their feedback gathering process, that sadly at least an eye opening (40%) of their prospective customers base, (meaning) both the men & women feel their three year leasing terms are not as competitive as they could and should be!

Or “how” they feel the service department is not quite as attentive and or open to their minor complaints and or concerns, as they should be!

They’ll strategically use their FB fan page to introduce their brand new seven page special report (and or) 17 minute video to explain “how” their brand new “Because we heard you loud and clear”, customer service guaranteed satisfaction program, is addressing those vitally important issues!

And they’ll start an aggressive customer service engagement campaign, via both twitter and FB!That my friend, is just a small sample of “how” they’ll strategically and systematically increase sales!Don’t you agree?Good!

  1. Hi, Mark,

What an interesting article! I really like the point you made about increasing sales is a natural extension of catering to our target audience. I couldn’t agree more! Excellent~!

When we are delivering value and catering to their every need, it’s completely natural for the next step to be something that is for sale… good selling is undetectable because it is so natural and simply the next expected thing.

Thank you for sharing, I really appreciate it. I hope you’re having a good week so far, I surely am.

    Take care,
    Carol Amato

P.S. Hope you don’t mind me saying so, but I really do not prefer the blue and red text, It makes the article much more difficult to read, in my opinion.
