When it comes to strategically creating some positive word of mouth and mouse buzz. For literally pennies on the dollar. What’s your current, number one go to strategy?
And what types of adjustments/A/B split testing have done. In order to discover. How high s high? And please don’t initially get caught up kin. How large or small your particular ad/promotional budget is. Because catering to your ideal prospects and or customers. Is a proven marketing/promotional strategy. Don’t you agree?
Don’t Neglect The Potentially Lucrative Back End Of Your Business And or Service!
For just a moment. Think about “how” your all too typical landscaper. Promotes their service. They usually place ads in various local papers. Usually in the “Service Directory” section, agreed?
The ads are rather small. Or they have a long looking. Vertical wise. But 99% of them. And the other local, non franchised service providers. Almost never, cross promote of JV/Joint Venture with each other!
Consider the previously untapped, cross promotional possibilities for just a moment. The local handy man, roofer and independently owned retail furniture store owner(s.)
Cross promote each others products and services. To each’s customer base! And yet all of them. Are steadily spending money on potentially expensive ad campaigns, correct?
Local Non Directly Competing Vendors Can Systematically Refer You New Business! (For Literally Pennies On The Dollar!)
So the retail furniture store owner(s.) Their ideal customers may currently have a total lifetime customer value metric of $$7,500 dollars. Give or take over the next five to seven year period.
In which case. They (or you!) Could offer the landscaper. Fifty or X number of dollars. For every referral lead they provide. And a bonus. Every time 10 or more of the leads they provide.
Convert to paying customers. The retail furniture store owner(s) pays for the landscapers weekly or monthly classified or display for the next month! (This should definitely not only the landscaper!) But any of cross promotional or JV partners the retail furniture store has. Don’t you agree?
Sometimes It Makes Total Economic Sense To Pay A Non Directly Competing Vendors Ad Or Promotional Cost!
Imagine that for just a moment. Let’s say five or X number of the twelve months out of the year. The furniture store owner(s) actually pay/invest in paying the local landscapers classified or display ads!
Which means the landscaper is spared that particular cost for X number of months out of the year! (And “how” about the incredibly simple marketing strategy!) Literally staring you in the face ladies & gentlemen! Do you see it? Or at least part of it! 😀
