Your target market(Are You Sure About That?)

Here’s a quick question for you. Regardless of what type of marketing, promotional or advertising medium you choose. Does your target market understand your messaging? Are you sure? (Major hint coming up.)

Always keep in mind. It’s not the on or offline medium you’re currently using. Instead, what it’s really about is. Whether or not your/our specific target markets. Understand the particular benefits. Your/our various products and or services provide.

If your message is totally self centered! And focused primarily on you. And not on them. My guess is they probably don’t. Would you not agree?

It’s Far Better And More Profitable To Attract The Right Audience! (Than To Appeal To The Non Qualified!)

Look at my sample index style business card. (Which is actually running in one of my local newspapers BTW.) I’m inexpensively A/B split testing it.

Against some of my other approaches. But look at the main power headline on the card. Notice the $64,000 dollar burning question it asks my target audience?

Notice it’s either a yes or no question, right? And the style of the card is anything but traditional, agreed? 😀 So my ideal prospect either (A.) See’s my benefit centered classified ad in the business services section of our local paper.

(B.) Or they see my business card pinned on some local, public bulletin board. But here’s the other major benefit to you/us! My customer centered business card.

Also repels the non qualified as well! For ex; one of their potential benefits is “fast closings!” As cash in as little as seven business days or less!

No closing costs if they/you qualify! and no minimum FICO score needed! (My target audience knows exactly what I’m talking about!)

Sadly, a low or borderline FICO score. Helps to disqualify a ton of small business owners and or service providers. Who are seeking  loan funding of some kind.

Benefits to your end user

Your Marketing Or Advertising Needs To Be Profitable! (Not Expensive Or Flashy!)

Here’s something very interesting. And yet all too common. The advertiser who look at my card. They suggested I do all sorts of non essentials.

 None of which! Helped further convey the potential benefits to my ideal end user. So what’s the point? 😀 I can promise you! My ideal prospects. Could care less about extremely bright background colors! Or different colored fonts.

Instead they’re laser focused on the potential benefits to them. And that’s all they or you truly care about, right? 😀 My/your marketing, advertising or promotional messages. On or offline. Has to answer the “what’s in it for me?” $64,000 dollar burning question

Hopefully my classified, business style card ad has accomplished just that. If not. It’s not for lacking of trying! 😀 Time will truly tell.

Just make darn sure! All of your on or offline marketing, promotional or ad material. Laser focuses on the benefits your target market craves!

And you’re well on your way! Don’t you agree?
