Back end marketing strategies  (Especially Over The Long Term!)

If it’s still not obvious how and why your non franchised local bakery. Should at least test marketing and promoting. To local “Special Needs” kids and families. It’s because it literally opens some doors to your back end marketing strategies and tactics.

Clearly the special needs kids and their immediate and outer family members. At least some of them. Represent some first time. And long term repeat business. Which they or you can generate. For literally pennies on the dollar! Don’t you agree?

Who Says Building Your Brand Means You Need Fortune 500 Types Of Promotional Budgets?

As previously mentioned in part one of this ongoing series. The 2nd grand prize winner. For an extremely limited time. When they receive an opt in email message.

They’re that particular month or quarters 2nd grand prize winner. They get to buy. A maximum of two birthday cakes at the bakers actual hard cost! Say what? 😀 This way they’re far more likely. To help spread the word! Both on and off of social media. Don’t you agree?

Sadly, most or far too many mom & pop retailers. Place far too much focus on trying to generate a front end sale! But not consistently nurturing their customers.

 In order to build long term customer loyalty! And it really doesn’t take as much as they or you seems to think it does! Truth told. Most mom & pop retailers rarely focus on customer and relationship nurturing!

Even though it pays big dividends! For literally years to come.

It’s All About Leveraging Your Advertising Dollars!

Of course the vast majority of mom & pop retailers do not focus nearly enough. On the long term back end of their business and or service. I’m not sure if they appreciate just “how” potentially profitable.

Their long term back end could be. There’s a ton of money systematically being left on the table. In lots of ways. Of course not every stream of income. They, you or I attempt will work out, agreed? 😀

But that shouldn’t prevent you/us from at least testing. When you and I initially acquire that all important front end customer. You and I might. Either initially break even. Or lose a little money.

Or earn a slight profit on the initially front end. Then immediately start chasing a brand new front end  customer all over again. Developing your long term back end marketing possibilities.
