First contact  (And What Happens From There!)

Entrepreneur you tell me if this has ever happened to you. Or how many times it’s ever happened to you? You walk into a local mom & pop family style restaurant for the very 1st time. And the person who initially greets.

The vast majority of the time. They’re very courteous, professional and friendly right? And they or someone walks you to your table. Hand or quickly gets your menus. And the rest sort of flows from there, does it not?

But please take careful notice here, fellow profit seeking entrepreneurs. In a staggering 99% of the cases. The greeter or waiter or waitress. In 99% of the cases. Never, ever ask is this your very 1st time visiting or eating here?

Because your mom & pop restaurant owners. Basically have two types of customers. 1st time or repeat customers. That’s it, correct? So it’s critical you and or your major local competitors.

Generate maximum marketing leverage off every daily, weekly and monthly first contact. Don’t you agree?

Ladies And Gentlemen Consistently Making More Money! (Is Definitely Within Your Control!)

Follow this marketing train  of thought ladies & gentlemen. A brand new first time customer. Even if it’s a group of people. Maybe a few members of a local organization. Walks into your mom & pop family orientated restaurant.

And before or just as they’re being seated and handed menus etc. They server asks them “BTW, is this your very 1st time eating here?”

There are only two possible answers ladies & gentlemen, correct? 😀

A.) Yes it is.

B.) No, I/we’ve been here before.

And whatever their specific answer is. Will determine which sealed envelop. And or which single or double sided index card they receive. In the case of the sealed envelop.

Which reads something to the effect. ‘You Won’t Believe What’s Inside!” or “You’re Not Gonna Believe What’s Inside!” 😀 It definitely shouldn’t take very ling to rip the envelop open, correct?

Let’s Talk About How You And Or Your Major Competitors Systematically Go About Building Momentum!

If for whatever reasons! You can’t find any local, reputable, non directly competing vendors. Who need your exact same customer. But obviously for different reasons. They’re not marketing savvy enough.

To see the instant benefits f providing your customer base. With some of their best. Market tested, extremely time sensitive discount coupons. For new 1st time customers only.

Then initially. Only your best market tested, extremely time sensitive discount coupons. Will be inside the sealed envelop. And you’ll ethically reward them.

To not only come back within the next X amount of days and or weeks.

But simply for dragging a friend with them. Who’s at least 18. They both save X% off their desert. Plus simply for joining your opt in email list. They’ll automatically an extremely time sensitive discount coupon.

Which saves them and any group of at least three adults 18 and over. Two of them only pay $1 dollar for any non acholic beverage of their choice! 😀

Plus simply for giving your restaurant a positive review on their social media account. Before leaving your restaurant. They get another extremely time sensitive discount coupon.

And any two adults 18 and over. Automatically save 15 or X% off their entire meal.

Entrepreneur Don’t Be Shy Or Hesitant About Leveraging Some Positive Word Of Mouth Or Mouse Buzz!

Before going any further ladies & gentlemen. Let’s be crystal clear here. The front end profit margins. Or overall gross profit margins for your typical mom & pop restaurant are razor thin to begin with, agreed? 😀

Which is “why” you definitely need to develop an extremely lucrative back end marketing strategy. (Which you and or your major competitors will discover in part two.)

But for now. Are you starting to better understand and appreciate. How and why your very first contact with customers. Are so critically important.

To the long term cash flow of your business!
