Retail photography business  (From Some Major Success!)

Obviously the more the locals see your work. The mor work you and or your major competitors will get, correct? But here’s the thing, fellow profit seeking entrepreneurs.

You definitely don’t have to market and or promote your retail photography business. The same way a staggering 97% or more of your local major competitors do.

Or if you do. There’s no written law. Which says you have to pay for it yourself, correct?

It’s All About Constantly Getting The Word Out! (Without Going Broke In The Process!)

Strictly for marketing illustration purposes only. Look around your local community. And think about some of the businesses which are non directly competing with you. Yet you both need that exact same customer base.

 For different reasons. You and or your major competitors. Might partner with some local, independently owned cafes. Where you initially. Agree to sell them portraits of either their babies.

 And or young kids. Under a certain age. At your actual hard cost. Provided you get to display your portraits on their walls. 😀 They’ll be great conversation starters.

At least some of the locals will definitely want to know how they can get hooked up too, correct? And who knows. Maybe some of the vendors will want to get a family portrait done too.

Sometimes Potentially Profitable Marketing Leverage Is Right In Front Of You! (Or Just Below The Surface!)

Another potentially profitable spot for generating some viral, positive word of mouth and mouse buzz. Is local bridal shops. Women who are already mothers.

Will see portraits of local babies or even family portraits on the wall of the bridal shop. And if they spend at least X. They automatically get an extremely time sensitive gift certificate from you or your major competitors photography studio.

And of course you and or your major competitors want to get at least a few portraits of baby pictures. Of some of the local hair or nail salon owner(s) babies.

In exchange for them receiving a discount. Or other considerations. You can definitely do some strategic cross promotions too. And don’t forget and or neglect. These local businesses.

These local vendors have employees. Who are constantly visiting these businesses, correct? They may want or know or live near someone. Who may also want some nice family photos or portraits done too.

Your retail photography business has plenty of opportunities to inexpensively expand. Don’t you agree?
