Have you also noticed in practically any town/city you can either think of. And or ever lived in. Unfortunately there are an awful lot of temporary or long term unemployed people. correct?
Now not to make light of it. But there’s a pool of potential affiliate and or Joint Venture/JV partners. Anywhere from 95-97% or more of them. At best will never expand it beyond the part time side hustle phase.
This being the undeniable case. If you’re a mom & pop style retailer. Who’s looking to systematically scale your business. And you really have no interest inconstantly wasting a fortune. On those outrageously expensive, dismally performing, traditional ad campaigns.
You can and definitely should. Seriously consider leveraging at least some of those out of work locals. Because very few of your major competitors ever turn unemployed workers in their immediate local community. Into an untapped commissioned only affiliate army. The potentially profitable opportunity and non traditional marketing strategies and tactics. You/we are about to deep dive into. Will be looked at. Primarily from the extremely marketing savvy. Non franchised retailers point of view. In other words, the ones writing the checks.
The 1st readily available pool they, you and or major competitors will look at is. (Local men & women who are currently out of work. Commissioned only sales reps.
Who maybe because of a temporary of prolonged down turn in the economy. They are either temporarily laid off! Or they recently retired or were maybe. Unfortunately forced out because AI technology or their age etc. (These kind of things happens far more than you and I might want to acknowledge.
Then there’s always the ongoing pool of temporary locals. Who are temporarily out of work. But truth told. The vast majority of these traditional, temporary out of work employees.
A staggering 97-99% of them. Will not be effective as commissioned only. Performance compensated affiliates. Because they (or possibly even you too!) Are far to accustomed to being paid. Either by the hour and or by salary. 😀
And this is fine. Because the extremely marketing savvy retailers. Who attempt to implement. Or at least inexpensively these type of performance based strategies and tactics.
They know and recognize going in. Typically a staggering 97-99% of the locals. Who are temporarily out of work. Or grossly under employed. Who come from an hourly or salaried position background. They simply won’t pan out over the long haul. But the one percenters will!
Entrepreneur There’s Absolutely Nothing Wrong With Systematically Creating Opportunity! (For Yourself And Or Your Top JV Partners!)
For just a moment, please seriously consider the following long term, previously untapped marketing/promotional possibilities! Even though on average. a measly one percent of every 500- 1,000 locals.
Who come from either an hourly or salaried background. Ever do anything remotely profitable. To help you and or your major competitors. Systematically scale your retail businesses long term front and back end gross profits. For literally pennies on the dollar.
Every one knows at least 25 other locals, right? 😀 According to my math. 500 locals x 25 = an impressive 12,500 locals, correct? 😀 And one percent of the original 500 is 5, right? (500 x .01% = 5.)
Which means overage. For every 500 temporarily out of work hourly or salaried employees. Who attempt to built a side hustle, commissioned only affiliate income of any kind.
At best only five will ever built it into a reliable side income of any kind.
Take What’s Readily Available And Make It Work As Best You Possibly Can!
This way, the extremely marketing savvy retailers. Don’t go into this with a totally unrealistic perspective. And totally unrealistic expectations. Don’t you agree?
Now that the proper marketing foundation has been laid down. In part two. You and or your major competitors. Will discover even more potentially benefits. When you turn unemployed workers into a potentially profitable commissioned only compensated affiliate army.
Who systematically generate customers for you and or your major competitors. For literally pennies on the dollar.
