Of course your car rental business should laser focus on the primary purpose of the business. But ladies & gentlemen please don’t neglect and or forget the undeniable fact.

The locals who rent cars. Guess what? They also spend a ton of money in their local community. On far more expensive products and services. And think about how much money, time and effort and resources. These non directly competing business and or services.

Routinely spend in order to generate an outrageously expensive first time customer. But what if that doesn’t have to be the case?

Effective Lead Generation Is Definitely A Potential Profit Center!

So imagine what starts happening to the non franchised car rental business owner(s) bottom line. When they or you start really maximizing the long term gross profits available to them.

Simply by effectively monetizing the long term back end of their business. If nothing else. If they or you! Started getting pay either 10- 25 or X% of the gross business they referred to other local, non directly competing businesses and or services.

Those Joint Venture/JV commissions. Could help offset or eliminate altogether. Part of your monthly lease payments, correct? 😀 Or lower your front end advertising/promotional costs.

A local commercial or residential broker and or agent. Might periodically need quality rental cars. For their out of state investors. Who may be in town. Either for a couple of days and or a few weeks. In order to physically inspect some potential investment properties before closing on them.

Or maybe a reputable auto mechanic. Might need access to quality rentals. With their customers need to leave their vehicles for extended periods.

Who better to provide this particular than your business/service, right? 😀 And consider what will start happening.

In terms of positive, viral word of mouth and mouse. When locals rent your cars. And on the drivers seat.

There’s an envelop, with the words “Congratulations” written on the outside of it. In big, bold red letters! 😀 How long do you think it will take for them to open it up?

And inside they find. Either one. Or several, extremely time sensitive, market tested discount coupons.

From other non directly competing vendors. Which local, non franchised car rental business will start be recommended more often? 😀 You so got that right!

You or they will start getting far more hashtag mentions! 😀 Don’t you agree?
