So let’s suppose you own a non franchised women’s facial treatment center. And for the most part. Your business is primarily word of mouth, correct?
You have a commercial space. Which may not initially be in the up scale area of where you live. So your lease isn’t overly expensive yet. 😀 And rather than waste a ton of money on outrageously expensive, hit and miss traditional advertising.
You choose to focus on leveraging various, word of mouth and mouse marketing and promotional opportunities. Strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only.
Let’s say it’s you and two other workers who service your clientele. And you each average X number of local women customers per day.
Your Current And Future Customer Base Can Systematically Generate A Ton Of Front And Long Term Back End Revenue For You!
Depending on how many times per year. And how many years your ideal customer remains a client. You can now get a semi realistic idea. What your ideal customers total lifetime customer value metrics are.
So now you understand how and why it makes total economic sense.
For you and or one of your main, local competitors. To offer any two, 1st time customers to come to your shop. Under your “Buddy Plan. (Provided both are at least 18.)
And they both get either a facial. Or some other popular service/treatment you currently offer. They come alone. And they only save 10 or X% off your current retail price.
However, simply for dragging a friend with them. Who’s at least 18. They both get their facials for free. Say what? And it’s a $47 or X dollar value apiece. Which makes this hypothetical example worth $97 dollars for two! ($47 x 2 = $97 dollars total perceived value.)
Technically you and or your major competitors are only out your initial front end hard cost. Because from a marketing and mathematical stand point.
You know the odds are greatly stacked in your favor.
Because before these ladies get out of your chair. A percentage of them will spend on average. An additional $75- $375 dollars! Or some of your best and most popular back end products and or services, agreed? 😀
Knowing Your First Time Customer Acquisition Costs Is Vital! (To Your Continued Long Term Growth!
So you know at least a percentage will definitely take to social media. To help spread the word, correct? Here’s the other extremely low cost marketing/promotional strategies and tactics.
You will at least inexpensively test. If your commercial space is located on the street.
You will place a stand up sign. Which promotes your “Free Facials Tuesdays & Thursdays Promotion.” Alerting your walk by foot traffic.
On any two days you designate. But preferably on your traditionally two lowest days of the week. Any two local women. Who are both at least 18. Can call your designated business number.
And be directed to your calendar. Or walk in and inquire. Then perhaps schedule their appointment. Under your “Bring A Friend For Your Free Facial” promotion. (It’s an X dollar value!)
