Please don’t get me wrong here! I’m all for you finding, nurturing or developing some type of positive mental attitude process. Which you can and definitely should incorporate into your daily habits.
Especially if you’re going to finally muster the much needed courage. (And ongoing mental toughness!) To give your side hustle of choice an honest try! But please let’s be brutally honest here, shall we?
You can’t simply expect to watch endless hours of so called “Motivational” videos! (Or listen to gurus and influencers!)
And sit on the coach chanting affirmations during some of your free time. At some point. Just like the sign for this particular posts says. You gotta put the remote and your cell phone down! And get off your couch! Don’t you agree?
This Is Why Effective Lead Generation Is A Multi Billion Dollar A Year Industry! (With No Signs Of Going Away Any Time Soon!)
Ladies & gentlemen. (Whenever I personally speak about starting a service based business of some kind.) Where you’re literally starting with virtually no savings. And virtually no start up capital to speak of!
And you currently have little or no real world business skills of any kind! And maybe you did or didn’t even finish high school. Or you dropped out of college!
And you’ve literally been on the verge of being evicted from your apartment. At least twice in the last 24-36 months etc. You’ve also literally been forced to move back in temporarily. With either your parent(s) or a loved etc.
Until you could officially get back on your feet! I’m not painting such a bleak, doom and and gloom picture. Simply to be overly dramatic.
All I’m really suggesting is. When you become an effective lead generator for local, non franchised retailers. None of your past matters in the least to them! 😀
What they’re primarily overly concerned with is! Can you show them “how to” consistently lower their cost per lead/ CPL costs.
From where it currently is. Somewhere between $500- $950 dollars per lead or X. To somewhere between an initial low of $50 – $350 dollars a lead on the higher end! If so, you/we are golden in their eyes and music to their ears! Don’t you agree?
Entrepreneur Do You Believe In Creating Your Own Opportunities? (Are Waiting On Them To Somehow Magically Appear!)
Let’ be crystal clear here ladies & gentlemen. Let’s say you did drop out of high school. But you truly do have a burning desire to serve others. In order to generate not only some spendable income for yourself! But to form and establish some real relationships in your local community.
It’s going to take some continuous long term prolonged effort on your/our part! You may have to initially approach, friends, current or former co-workers, siblings, besties. Current or former neighbors, current or former in-laws etc.
To get the much needed introduction(s.) To a local, non franchised retailer. Who is entrepreneurial minded thinking enough. To least give you the opportunity to generate leads for them.
And be paid X amount of dollars. For every lead which converts into an actual paying customer. (And sadly, in the initial stages of your entrepreneurial side hustle. You may even get ripped off by one or some of them!)
But you’ll hopefully be wiser for it. And going forward. Know “how to” much better protect yourself! And the gross profits you generate for them! Don’t you agree? So don’t give up on your side hustle of choice! Just keep honing your skills!
And You’re Definitely Gonna Need To Get Off The Couch At Some Point!
