As some of you recall from a previous post about exact same theme. The publishers of the “Dummies” series have done quite well. Have they not?
And their ‘how to’ series about learning WordPress. Is certainly no exception. While I’m definitely not totally sure how many books they’ve actually published about ‘how to’ use the WordPress software.
Some quick research on Google. Indicates to date. They’ve published seven different editions. On the same theme by different authors. And strictly for marketing illustrations purposes only. Let’s say they’ve sold a total 3 million copies of all those ‘how to’ themed based WordPress books.
But from a marketing stand point> That’s only the initial front end beginning, is it not?
Strategic Digital Marketing Can And Definitely Will Create Tons Of Previously Untapped Marketing Possibilities!
Let’s say of those 3,000,000 sales of the book. A mere one percent. Or the 3,000 buyers. Decided they would love to invest a maximum of $5,000 or X amount of dollars.
For a state of the art. Fully customized corporate style of site. Which should cost a maximum of at least $15,000 dollars or more! 😀 But let’s say one of their back end, income streams is.
They create an agency. Which is made up primarily of college grads. Who either majored in digital marketing. Or they were certified in WordPress.
And what’s really cool about this particular employment opportunity for the college student/coaches. They will have individual calendars the “Dummies” publishers will gladly pay for.
And these corporate type of customers. Will set an appointment. To discuss their projects with these student/consultants. And since the publishers will be doing o much volume with this type of offer.
That’s why they cap the cost of the typical websites. These student consultant will be building for the corporate business owner readers of their how to use ‘WordPress” series.
Because typically these corporate types would expect to easily anywhere between $10,000 – $25,000 dollars for their sites. Now through this back end offer.
They pay a max of $5,000 dollars! Or X max. (Say what? 😎
And Yes It’s All About Building Residual Income Streams!
Before moving own. Ladies & gentlemen do you care to do the math. If 3,000 readers of he “WordPress” “Dummies” series book. And they’re the corporate type.
If they only charged a maximum of $5,000 dollars for their site. But they’re responsible for any web building cost over that amount. I think you’ll agree. That’s a pretty tidy sum, is it not? (3,000 x $5,000 dollars = ?) I’d say enough! 😀
But here’s the other thing. What if another one percent of those 3 million buyers. Are willing to invest a mere $19.95 per month or X.
So they can speak on zoom with one of this qualified college grad consultants. For a minimum of one hour. And get their zoom link sent to them.
Within a few hours after their session. The other thing is. The college grad student coaches. Can work as many or as few hours as they wish to. And they will be paid on an upwardly sliding scale. As long they maintain a certain “Satisfactory Rating.
They earn the higher hourly end of the scale. Otherwise they start out and remain at $25 or X number of dollars per hour.
And when they agree to build one of these corporate style sites. There earn a flat fee of $1,500 dollars or X.
And they have to mark off their calendar. Until they satisfactorily complete their project. They they can start consulting again for whatever their current hourly rate is again.
And the publisher grosses the remaining $3,500 per corporate site built! ($5,000 – $1,500 dollars = a gross profit of $3,500 dollars! 😎
