Looking at the feature image with particular post. What’s your best guess? As to how many people are in this particular image? Just for the sake of example. Let’s say there’s 125 people.
Supposed you and I get invited to do a live talk at some local event. And there are 125 of your/our ideal prospects in attendance. My friend if you still haven’t spoken to that large of a live audience before!
It’s probably in your/our long term best interest. To consciously start small! And gradually get your feet wet!
Before you attempt or accept an invitation. To speak in front of a group of 1,500 attendees or more! Don’t you agree?
Let Steadily Building Momentum Come Naturally! (Until You Get More Comfortable!)
Fellow profit seeking entrepreneur. It may not seem readily apparent! But unless you’re an extremely unique individual! The first few times you appear in front of a live audience of any kind. But especially adults!
It will be extremely nerve racking on some level! And you may initially come off as paranoid or extremely uncomfortable! 😀 And yes, all or most of your audience will pick up on this.
But like anything else. Driving a car or skiing etc. You’re going to have to put your reps in. Until you gradually get more comfortable. My main point being. Start small and don’t initially try and bite off too much!
You/we have to get comfortable. And it definitely takes a little while. Until your/our natural charisma routinely shines through.
Developing Multiple Skills Is Most Definitely Worth The Effort!
Entrepreneur don’t be too arrogant! To accept live speaking opportunities. or guest podcasting opportunities. In the initial beginning. where maybe the podcast host. Only has ten episodes under their belt!
Or the local even is only expecting 50 people at best! If you’re already a household name! Go for it. If not, put your ego in check! Be humble and start small!
There’s plenty of time for exponential growth. In the days ahead! Don’t you agree? So go ahead and get and remain proactive.
But don’t feel like you need to start off at the top of the mountain!
Just Because You Initially Start Out Small! (Doesn’t Mean You Have To Stay That Way!)
