How long have you been proactively advertising or promoting your business or services? And does your paid advertising campaigns include PPC (Pay Per Click)?

Or what exactly are you doing to effectively and inexpensively get the word out? And how’s it going? This is not a trick question. Given the chance. Can you or your major competitors possibly, consistently set aside at least one – two hours per week, (to initially begin with) in order to proactively market your business or services?

You are serious and totally dedicated to strategically building an audience, right? Especially if you can consistently do so for literally pennies on the dollar, right? Me too.

But here’s the potential long term benefits to seriously consider about whatever marketing/promotional strategies you at least inexpensively A/B split test going forward.

Do these strategies, have or offer the opportunity, for you or your major competitors to constantly generate, free or extremely low cost mega exposure, without you or your major competitors having to invest an additional nickel in upfront cost? if not don’t hesitate to read on…

I’m not sure what or which particular potentially inexpensive marketing or promotional methods you plan on systematically using. But for my money. Guest podcasting is a great start. Say what?

Because as some of you already know yours recently appeared on an outrageously popular podcast called “Leafy Podcast.” And below is just a sample of all the extremely high profile podcast hosts they upload each new episode to. After they professionally edit them.

This extremely short list of where “Leafy Legal Services” uploads their popular podcast episodes after they’re professionally recorded. This in and of itself comes as no real surprise.

Proactively Building Your Audience Can And Often Will Take Some Totally Unexpected Positive Turns!

Before elaborating on that particular headline. Consider this little known fact. Here’s the reason for the main featured image with this particular blog post. Did you know the University of Tennessee-s college football stadium holds a staggering 102,000 rabid fans? Me either.

Here’s why it’s relevant to me appearing on Leafy Podcast-s show. They have an Atlanta affiliate, whose total subscriber base is currently 500,000 strong. Say what? That’s correct.

Which means their one Atlanta affiliate subscriber base is literally 400% larger than the University of Tennessee-s college football stadium. Can you freaking believe it?

And Leafy Podcast-s which also uploads their current episodes to Podbean-s extremely popular podcast hosting platform. Leafy currently has a (DR) Domain Rating of 90%.

Which is pretty darn impressive, for those of you who understand basic SEO (Search Engine Optimization) concepts. Would you not agree?

But first here’s yet another screen shot image of Leafy Podcast sharing “Episode 87” on Twitter, which is the particular episode my guest podcast appearance was on. And also where I immediately uploaded the episode on Linkedin. (the more laser targeted exposure the better. Right?)

If You’re Not Interested In Starting And Growing Your Own Podcast Audience! (Do The Very Best Next Thing And Start Being A Guest On Extremely Relevant Podcasts!)

Going forward. Let’s be crystal clear and grounded in reality. First of all. Yours truly had no idea before hand, about how large Leafy Podcast-s Atlanta affiliates subscriber base was.

So let’s not try and only target outrageously popular podcast-s hosts shows. Who have gargantuan audiences. Because it’s simply not a realistic strategy. Especially when you or your major competitors are consistently trying to land guest appearances.

But as you start to consistently appear on the major podcasts within your particular niche. Take a look at the screen shot image below. Of just some of what you or your major competitors can start to expect.

In terms of additional free viral exposure, from major sources you definitely didn’t originally anticipate. Out of curiosity. I went over to youtube and typed in the phrase “episode 87.”

And mostly what turned up on youtube-s 1st page were results for popular TV shows or popular series, which aired an 87th episode.

However, to my complete surprise and delight. In the middle of the page. Look at what else turned up for the term “episode 87.” No way this was anticipated. But appearing on youtubes 1st page for that particular term. As of the publishing of this particular blog post.

But the additional, (totally unexpected free viral marketing exposure!) is so gladly accepted. So going forward. As you or your major competitors are strategically attempting to build an audience.

You need to make (either) guest blogging or guest podcasting a part of your long term marketing mix. Don’t you agree?
