Most people today know that Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is critical to having a successful on-line business.

What they may not know is exactly how to use it in their marketing plan. Incorporating strategically chosen keywords, with valuable content, can dramatically increase your world-wide-web presence, and ultimately, your bottom line.

Even more important, knowing how your customers find you is invaluable information.

But this is just the first layer, of many, to creating a consistent revenue stream. Implementing a data driven marketing plan, to create repeat business, is necessary for growth and longevity.

Once complete, you must re-evaluate your data and re-engineer your plan, to attract new customers and retain your existing business.

Whatever floats your boat and makes you happy. One things for sure. There are simply a ton of completely overblown myths and legends, with regards to a lot of subjects. And good old Internet marketing is no exception!

Any newbies that happen to get exposed to them, are sure to be more than a little bit temporarily derailed, if they start buying into them.

This post was written to hopefully help any aspiring newbie online marketer avoid being distracted by them. Because of the fact that this seven well worn myths are so prevalent online, it’s a miracle when newbies don’t get swept up in them!

So here’s to debunking these seven outrageously bogus and well worn Internet marketing myths! And may some and or a few aspiring newbies be spared the heartache and frustration of  being exposed t and influenced by them!

So let’s have a quick look at how these seven extremely bogus and well worn myths are actually sabotaging aspiring newbie’s chances for long term success.

These are definitely the types of distractions that get you too far off track and then get you way too pre-occupied with incredibly time wasteful activities!

And as a direct result, very few aspiring online new marketers ever fully recover from! So quit their Internet marketing dream, before they’ve ever truly had a chance to get started!

So let’s not go there!

1.) Outrageously bogus myth # one: “Who” hasn’t heard this one; If you create great fresh content, your traffic will automatically come! Yea right! Entrepreneur, you’ve got to work equally as hard (if not) twice as hard to actively promote any and all content that you create!

This is not  that “Kevin Costner” (Field Of Dreams) stuff! Just because you (and I) write it, doesn’t automatically they will come!

It’s Not Just About Ranking High On The First Page Of Google Or Any Of The Other Major Search Engines!

2.) Outrageously bogus myth # two: Getting listing # one on Google’s first page for your particular keywords, will solve all of your online marketing problems! If only! Ladies & gentlemen, if you don’t make the right type of copy and offers on your site, and you happen to get listed on Google’s front page for certain keywords.

Oh you’ll definitely get more than your fair share of organic (free) traffic from the search engines, bu you’ll get very few conversions that are worth concerning yourself with!

3.) Outrageously bogus myth # three: It’s important to track how many total  “hits” and or ‘unique visitors” that your site(s) receive on a daily basis!Tracking the random daily untargeted unique visitors to your site is like collecting “likes” to your Facebook fan and business pages.

That doesn’t necessarily translate into more sales and or opt in email subscribers etc!

Most Aspiring Online Newbie Marketers Would Do well To Avoid Listening To These Seven Extremely Bogus Myths!

4.) Outrageously bogus myth # four: Making sure your site offers a full online experience, such as forums, chat rooms and or forums etc.

Entrepreneur, unless you’re as cash flush as Bill Gates and Warren Buffet etc, there is simply no way you will ever build able to afford to spend th type of money necessary, to make that type totally inter-active site viable

So don’t even go there!

5.) Outrageously bogus myth # five: You need t have one of those techno geek type of sites in order to really make a killing online!

This is so wrong! Simple sites with extremely non techie sites work best!

Confused visitors don’t stick around!

6.) Outrageously bogus myth # six: You can sell “banner  ads” to finance part of your ongoing expenses!

Whatever Type Of Targeted Traffic You Consistently Generate You Need To Be Able To Monetize It!

My friend, don’t make the mistake of plastering adsense ads all over your main site(s.) And in order to really make a go of that type of income generating business model, you’ll need tons of daily traffic! Tons!

So if you’re paying for traffic, that could get expensive and incredibly non profitable real quick!

7.) Outrageously bogus myth # seven: Tweaking your site simply for tweaking’s sake is a productive and creative thing to do! It’s not!

You tweak (test) strictly with a specific purpose in mind! There you have ladies & gents and aspiring newbie online marketing hopefuls. There you have it.

Try Not To Fall Prey To This All Too Common Circulated Internet Marketing Myths!

These well worn and outrageously bogus Internet marketing myths have been (and if not checked) will continue to derail far too many aspiring online Internet marketing hopefuls! Don’t you agree?
