Have you had the opportunity to price on or offline ad campaigns? They’re not exactly cheap, right? And even though some platforms might temporarily lower their prices.
Strictly for strategic competitive reasons. In the end. Overall prices are headed north, agreed? All the more reasons why. Your referral generating process. Can’t and shouldn’t be 100% reliant on. Positive word of mouth and mouse buzz referral generating strategies. of course it’s great when your/our best or ideal prospects and customers do that, agreed?
Don’t Be Afraid Or Hesitate To Strategically Cross Promote!
One of the most straight forward, low cost marketing or promotional strategies. To at least inexpensively test. Which definitely helps lower your traditional advertising costs. Strategically cross promoting. Or proactively Joint Venturing. With other local, non directly competing vendors.
Who share your same customer base. But obviously for different reasons. Strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. Let’s say you and or your major competitors.
Partner with a local developer or two. And you and or your major competitors allow them to utilize some of your “Discontinued and or Closeout” inventory.
So prospective home buyers. Get a more realistic idea. How they might decorate their dream home! As well local property management companies. They could offer their current and future customers.
Extremely time sensitive, market tested gift certificates. To you and or your major competitors stores.
And the recipients receive X% off their total purchases. Provided they join the furniture stores, VIP opt in email list. And drags a friend with them to you and or your major competitors store. Who’s at least 18.
It’s Definitely Okay To Systematically Make More From Less!
Here’s another marketing/promotional strategy. You and or your major competitors. Can at least inexpensively test.
Find a reputable, local interior designer/company owner. And at least once per month. Host/100% sponsor/pay for. In store events.
Like “Interior Designs By Beth” events! And she’ll promote the events all across her social media channels, right? 😀 Hold a free drawing as well. Ethically bribe every attendee. Who brings a friend who’s at least 18.
Their name automatically goes into the drawing twice! 😀 If they’re the 1st grand prize winner for that specific in store event. They automatically win. A state of the art, 65 inch flat screen TV! 😀 (One which was a closeout model anyway!)
The monthly winners will definitely help spread the word. Both on and offline, right? My friend. This is a small sample. Of how you get your referral generating process. To work for not against you!
