Of course your independently owned retail business and or service for that matter. Will experience more than your your fair share of traditional slowest days of the week, correct?
But instead of simply shrugging your shoulders or burying your head in the sand. And hoping for the best. You can definitely still go about systematically boosting your revenue. But it’s definitely going to take some non traditional, creative marketing and promotional elbow grease. Don’t you agree?
With The Right Word Of Mouth And Mouse Referral Strategy! (Good Things Will Definitely Start To Happen!)
One of the first metric points you definitely need to determine is. What is the total lifetime customer value of your ideal customer?
Otherwise, you can’t accurately determine how much you can really afford to invest on your initial front end. In order to generate your first time customers.
In the hypothetical case of this local, independently owned women’s clothing and accessories store. Go ahead and leverage the women’s natural tendencies to to be extremely social! 😀 With their positive, viral word of mouth and mouse campaigns.
First you and or your major competitors. Probably need to create a really sexy lead magnet of some kind. Like a free drawing Where each month. The 1st grand prize winner automatically wins a really nice pair of power pumps!
Or an expensive dress. Or a top end designer hand bag. All the locals do. Is join the retailers opt in email list. In order to be eligible to enter the free drawing.
And the 2nd monthly or quarterly grand prize winner. They automatically get to purchase any one item of their choice! Up to $500 dollars or X! At the retailers actual hard cost.
However, simply for dragging a friend with them to your store. Who’s at least 18.(Including on your traditionally slowest day of the week.) You will ethically reward/bribe them for doing so. By allowing them to purchase any two items of their choice.
Up to a maximum cost $500 or X dollars apiece! That simple marketing gesture should definitely the texts, phones calls and social media posts flowing! Don’t you agree?
You Definitely Don’t Have To Be A Certified Marketing Genius In order To Increase Your Revenue!
Entrepreneur stop or pause for just a moment. And seriously consider. The overall compounding affect. Instead of constantly wasting a fortune on outrageously expensive!
Local prime time TV & radio ads. Which mostly fall on death ears anyway, correct? You have to constantly run them over and over. before your ideal target audience pays any attention to them, right?
By contrast. Your daily walk ins see your free drawing offer. They join you and or your major competitors list. In order to enter your free drawing.
Now each time you send them future email messages. It literally cost you pennies on the dollar, agreed? Plus you ethically bribe them to drag a friend.
You or your major competitors. Who proactively embrace this fundamental marketing/promotional approach. You just saved thousands or tens of thousands of dollars! In upfront cost, correct?
When you also include how your other local, non directly competing vendors. Or top local Joint Venture/JV partners. Could direct their subscribers to your store!
On different days of course! 😀 Plus, as an extra, additional low cost strategy. You could at least test? Hmm…..? 😀 How’s that for systematically boosting your revenue?
