(Truth Told Far From It!)
I recently read an incredibly informative email message. From a full time online marketer I currently follow. They shared “how” even though their website was temporarily down!
They are still able to generate a sizeable income. Primarily from strategic email marketing. Stop and consider that for a moment. Your/our website and or e-ecommerce site temporarily goes down!
Yet because you’re both building and have a highly responsive opt in email subscriber base. You/we are still able to generate some bankable income. That’s a nice option to have in place, agreed?
There’s Lot’s Of Not So Obvious Benefits To Systematically Building Your Own Subscriber Base!
There are definitely a couple of potential long term benefits. To be considered here. The art and science of knowing how to strategically build your own on or offline database. Is definitely an evergreen skill. Would you not agree?
Offline, let’s say you’re a non franchised retail furniture store owner. You simply create a giant four way sign in your store. Promoting your monthly or quarterly free drawing!
Where each month or each quarter. Two 1st grand prize winners. (One male, one female 21 and over!) Who either join your opt in email list. Or they simply fill out a one or two sided index card.
Their first & last name. Their current address and best phone number. And place it in a large fish bowl. With employees there at the table. And before each customer leaves the table. The employees gives them an extremely time sensitive.
Discount coupon. To go to a local, non franchised pizza shop. And they save $5 or X dollars off one Large cheese pizza. Toppings are extra.
And it doesn’t matter if they’re already a previous customer of the pizzeria! This incredibly simple, low cost, cross promotional strategy.
Is designed to create an influx of customers. Some of who will more than likely. Become long term repeat customers. For literally pennies on the dollar.
A Highly Responsive List Creates Ton’s Of Previously Untapped Marketing Possibilities!
It definitely can’t be stressed enough ladies & gentlemen. The overall total size of your on or offline database. Is far less important than! How fully responsive your subscribers are to your offers.
Be they for your own products or services. Or for your/our affiliate products or services. Or for your/our Joint Venture/JV products and services.
When your/our social media accounts get inadvertently, temporarily or permanently shutdown! And you’re/we’re relying 100% on social media! Your/our so called business comes to a grinding halt, correct?
Fellow profit seeking entrepreneurs. Hopefully you can appreciate that strategic email marketing is many things! But it’s not dead yet! Don’t you agree?
