Wasteful ad campaigns  (To Leverage This Previously Untapped Opportunity!)

If you and I were to take away all the smoke and mirrors. It will quickly become obvious. An awful lot of these non franchised retailers. Consistently blow a ton of money on these extremely wasteful ad campaigns.

And some of these owners are simply too in love with seeing themselves in their ads! (Most won’t admit it!) But they’d rather keep wasting a fortune of their dismally performing, traditional ad campaigns.

Than to least test some potentially viable marketing and promotional alternatives. Hopefully this particular mindset. Doesn’t describe you does it?

Creating Word Of Mouth Campaigns Should Be A Major Priority!

Most, but certainly not all of these big spending, non franchised retailers. Are content to just write outrageously large checks. And never see most or all of their money again. And without knowing what their monthly ad budget is.

And strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. Let’s say they, (or you!) Are consistently spending anywhere from $30,000 -$50,000 a month or more!

On those outrageously expensive, dismally performing. Thirty to ninety second, prime time local  radio and or TV ads. And those expensive full and half a page newspaper ads!

Now imagine at least strategically testing the following. Non traditional marketing and or promotional strategies and tactics. (After or as soon as you have a realistic idea. What your ideal customers total lifetime customer value metrics are.

Steadily Building Momentum! Is Definitely The Name Of The Game!

After running your your ideal customers total lifetime customer value numbers. You discover your ideal customer is easily or typically worth.

Somewhere between $7,500- $11,000 dollars. Give or take. Over the next 5-7 year period. (Keep in mind these are your gross numbers.)

Still in all. Now you can say. When you send your opt in email subscribers. A series of extremely time sensitive messages. For your “Closeout Sales” event.

Or your semi annual “Clearance Blowout Sales Events.” Every or the 1st X number of customers. Who drag a friend with the to one of your events. Who’s at least 18.

Be Sure And Leverage Your Opportunities To Strategically Use Some Form Of Scarcity!

Before the stated expiration date. Not only do they automatically save X% off their total purchase. But they also get a $25 or X dollar gift certificate. To one of your areas most popular supermarkets.

And the 1st X amount of customers who spend over $1,500 or X amount of dollars. They automatically a $50 or X dollar gift certificate to a popular local supermarket.

These type of totally unexpected bonuses! Will most certainly cause a flood, out positive, viral word of mouth and mouse buzz. Don’t you agree?

And you start power partnering. With a local carpet upholstery provider.(Or a local, mom & pop carpet cleaning company.) Let them pass out your extremely time sensitive gift certificates. As bonuses or surprise gifts around Xmas or New Years etc.

My friend. If it’s not crystal clear by now. How you can leverage at least some of those extremely wasteful ad campaigns. Then look in the mirror extremely hard. Because that’s where the major problem lies!
