Why No Matter What The Local Or National Economy Is Doing Real Entrepreneurs Will Always Thrive!

 

So are you familiar with the name Ray Higdon? Now those of you that are in any way personally involved in the home based business industry, and or the self help development/mindset categories, may in fact already know him or be a subscriber on one of his many opt in email lists.

As I am. Now in the spirit of full disclosure, I too am one of Ray’s many (happy) subscribers/customers/students, although I’m not in the home based business industry.

And (believe you me) whenever the phrase real entrepreneurs comes up, this guy is one of the very first people I think of! And after reading this particular post, you just might be too!

You’ll see why in just a second. Anyway, one of the main reasons that I so closely follow Ray’s proven real word advice, with regards to both marketing your businesses, products and services in general and Internet marketing in particular.

If you haven’t heard or read this guy’s incredible zero to eventual hero like story!You definitely need to!  Because without a doubt, he’s a genuine “Rocky Balboa” sort of “never say never” and you’ll eventually win kind of guy!

In the interest of time and in order to really cut to the chase!  Here’s the (really) short encapsulated version of this guy’s meteoric rise to fortune and worldwide fame! Flashback to late 2008 -ish. This guy’s real estate empire (along with countless others), was all but going down in flames!

He was deeply in debt up to his eyeballs, facing personal foreclosure, on the verge of bankruptcy (and as he likes to put it!) massively depressed on his best days! Now how’s that for starting off at the bottom!

And he also readily admits “how” he failed miserably in the first eleven or  twelve MLM companies he joined! And as most of you already know, at least 95% of the average people that experienced that type of result, would have simply given up on the idea of making money in the home based business industry and simply moved on to something else!Right?

Any yet fast forward to today!

This guy along with his beautiful wife Jessica (an extremely talented), and oh so dynamic entrepreneur in her own right! Today along with Ray’s kids, they routinely travel the world (first class) I might add! And they run a massive, and steadily growing seven figure a year thriving business, built on multiple streams of both passive and active income streams!

This guy now is frequently one of the best received speakers at some of the top live events throughout the world. Plus he & his wife host an annual training event, and they get some of the top entrepreneurs and speakers from all over the world,(leaders in business, financing, real estate development and acquisition etc.)People like the oh so dynamic Kevin Harrington of the mega hit TV show “Shark Tank” to share their proven real world secrets with their audiences!

Of course my mini version doesn’t begin to do full justice to a fraction of “how ” hard and dedicated this guy was to turn things around so relatively fast, and start living the life of Byron! And no I’m not any type of paid and or compensated spokesperson, and or a joint venture (JV) partner or anything of the sort!(Not yet anyway!)

Just saying, the guy’s story and his “take no prisoners” approach to being all you were meant to be attitude towards achieving your goals totally rocks!

 How And Why Real Entrepreneurs Will Always Thrive No Matter What Condition The Local And Or National Economy Is In!

Fast forward to today, the last time Ray revealed  some of his opt in numbers, (a few years back) he said he had about 34,000 plus opt in subscribers on his various lists. (And as of last count, it’s currently over 150,000 strong, and steadily growing!)So that’s where and what this particular (purely) hypothetical entrepreneurial tale will begin.

The real purpose of this post, and this particular hypothetical marketing example is to (hopefully) open your mind to the virtually limitless untapped potential entrepreneurial opportunities, that are available to you and I, once you embrace and start thinking and acting like a savvy marketer/entrepreneur does!

And the  other thing is, (for the record) I’m (as I mentioned previously) one of Ray’s many satisfied,paid customer/students, because I’ve invested in several of his blogging/marketing products etc.

So he nor Jessica certainly don’t need (nor have they ever asked for) any of my so called marketing advice and or expertise! They already successfully run a seven figure a year coaching/mentoring arm of their  business!

I’m just using his moxy and serial entrepreneurial creativity as a marketing idea launching pad, to give you a mini glimpse into what’s truly possible! Irregardless of what particular (so called) condition (both) the local, and or national economy is suppose to be in! Real entrepreneurs like Ray, Jessica and others (hopefully) you and I as well, will always find previously untapped creative ways to thrive!

You Do Recognize That Successful Entrepreneurship Is More Of A  Certain Positive Mindset First And Foremost!(Right?)

Enough said, and enough with all the back drop and stage setting stuff! Finally let’s get to it! And we’ll cover the bulk of it in parts two & three.So please stay tuned!

For now, here’s the deal. Recently in one of Ray’s daily videos, he was sitting in his hotel room, as he was between workshops at this rather pricey “Mastermind” type of multi day workshop event he was attending strictly as a student/consumer himself! In other words, he was neither an instructor and or keynote speaker at this particular event!

But what he was doing was sharing his (power notes) emphasis mine, from that days workshops he had attended up to that point in the day.

And at (or near) the end of each daily video or two that he released, (after or ) just before his standard “Call To Action” (CTA), he would instruct his audience to post any particular questions they had about that day’s scheduled workshops that Ray was planning on attending, and he would build (either) some video and or future blog content around it!

( BTW: What an absolutely fabulous way to consistently generate some fresh relevant ideas for problem solving magnetic content! Don’t you agree?)

And that’s when my particular creative marketing light bulb went off and inspired this series of posts! Let’s say Ray & Jessica decide to add another pillar (income stream) to their already thriving seven figure a year “how to” coaching/mentoring information marketing empire.

Real Entrepreneurship Has More To Do With Your Particular Mindset! (Don’t You Agree?)

So Ray sends an email to his entire list alerting them that he’s promoting this brand new (hands on) intensive “how to” coaching/mentoring service program, that he & Jess are about to launch. Here’s how it’s going to work.

Ray (and sometimes Jess) is going to attend at least 5-7 major high level marketing/Internet training /how to blog events throughout the year.Which means, each event plus the personal one on one coaching/mentoring they’ll be investing in as well, will routinely cost somewhere in the $7,5,00 to $15,000 dollar per person range! Yea, the real top level ” how to” stuff!

So Ray wants to know “who” or how many would like to look over his shoulder for the next twelve months, while he tests (implements) what he & Jessica will be exposed to!

Plus, each week, he’ll jump on a private 90 minute to two hour, absolutely “No holds barred” Q & A webinar  (that of course) will be recorded, and he or Jessica will show and demonstrate to you everything they’ve done that week, in terms implementing various on or offline marketing/advertising strategies, future ideas, paid ads, the whole nine yards etc!(The good, the bad and the ugly!)

Plus, he & Jess are also going to pay through the nose to go one on one and grill each expert for two hours and record it, and add it to their soon to be launched paid monthly membership site.

But here’s the thing, for every paying participant in this new program, he’s going to ask them, if they could ask just one question and go two hours with that particular expert, what one burning question would they ask?

And he and Jess and his team will pick out what they feel are the 10- 15 best questions that will benefit the entire group the most! And those are the burning questions they’ll ask and record these no holds barred sort of “hot seat” style power interviews!
