How Extremely Savvy Entrepreneurs Create Really Big Profits From Incredibly Tiny Ad Budgets!Part Two

How Extremely Savvy Entrepreneurs Create Really Big Profits From Incredibly Tiny Ad Budgets! Part Two

As you previously discovered in part one of this ongoing series about “how” extremely  savvy entrepreneurs such as yourself, can consistently create  some really big profits, even if  they’re  just starting out with an incredibly tiny traditional advertising budget.

But (truth told), entrepreneur if you’re truly serious about systematically growing your business, on the proverbial shoe string type of budget.

In order to avoid constantly writing outrageously big checks for massively expensive, traditional glitzy ad campaigns etc.

Which basically do very little for your bottom line, other than quickly drain it, and pad the pockets (quite nicely) I might add, of the ad agencies and companies which sell them to you.

Then you’d better be ready to work massively hard, and consistently count on eight days a week, and twice as hard during the outrageously hectic holiday season!Especially in the beginning!

That is, until you’ve gotten, and created some serious bankable traction!Because the general public could care less “about” how much time you consistently spend away from your family, and or loved ones!Or how much interest you are currently obligated to pay on your short term business bridge loan etc!

Provided, you could even qualify to get one in the first place! (But that’s another blog post altogether!) Anyway, the public is primarily concerned, first and foremost with “how” whatever it is you have, benefits them! Period!

(And don’t ever forget that! Or get preoccupied with addressing anything other than that, if you’re truly serious, about (first) getting, and temporarily holding their extremely short attention span!)

So let’s dive a little deeper (here in part two), and see “how” you can consistently create some extremely big profits, even if you’re starting out with an incredibly tiny traditional ad/marketing budget!

Who Says Extremely Savvy Entrepreneurs Such As Yourself Can’t Consistently Create Some Really Big Profits Even If You’re Starting Out With An Incredibly Tiny Traditional Ad Budget?

Now first and foremost, let’s start right out of the gate with a bit of a “wake up call” /reality check, shall we? Ladies & gentlemen (and fellow) entrepreneurs.

At some point during your entrepreneurial journey, it’s going to make perfect sense for you to strategically reach out to other (local) on and offline profit seeking business owners, and or service providers etc. In order to put together some type of joint venture (JV) and or strategic alliances etc.

And when you do! Please be aware that even though (on paper) they may (in your mind) be a great potential strategic alliance/ joint venture partner. However, for whatever reasons, (you and I) may never ever totally understand!

Some of them, simply will never ever follow through as they promised to do so! Bummer! Still others, (sadly) no matter “how” many different ways you desperately try to explain it to them, simply will not get it! (Big hint:) When that happens it’s definitely time to quickly pick up your marbles and hastily move on! 😎

Still others, will secretly try and pull some of these (proven) low hanging fruit ninja marketing strategies off, without including you!

Let em! While others, will most definitely feel threatened by (at least) some of “what” you’re proposing, and therefore always feel sort of uncomfortable with your entire potential arrangement.

That’s just the way it is and the small price you (and I) must pay for ultimate success! So don’t freak out when you start routinely coming across  some of the aforementioned situations and attitudes etc!

Press on, for true massive success awaits you!

So Where Or How Do You Go About Consistently Finding These Walking Talking Local Billboards For Your Business, Products And Or Services?

One of your easiest targets (initially), will be professional women of all walks and occupations and or careers etc. For ex; quickly get to know some local successful Realtors and or successful women real estate sales reps.

And be totally upfront with them! Meaning: tell them “why” you’d like to have them as a long term repeat customer/client, because of their extremely high profile in the local business as well as offline community etc! And you’ll be happy to give them a really “sweet heart” deal, like maybe you’ll do their hair, once every other week, (either) at your actual cost.

And or (if ) they’re really high profile enough, and their mentioning your shops name, consistently causes a flood of brand new first time customers, or clients that you know for a fact you would not have gotten, were it not for them occasionally dropping your shops name!

Then by all means,  ladies & gentlemen do the right thing, and do their hair  (and if need be) their nails too for free! Think of the ongoing cost as a prudent (long term) marketing investment expense!

And don’t forget, their constantly meeting other local successful women from all walks of life 24/7, showing them houses, getting new listings, meeting with other local high profile women attorneys, closing on properties, socializing with other six and seven figure a year earning professional women of all kinds etc.

And more than likely, the really good ones are at least semi active on social media! And that’s where strategic plan B comes into play!

And You Don’t Just Want Access To These Local High Profile Individuals You Want Inexpensive Professional Access To Their On and Offline Personal And Professional Networks As Well!

You make them aware of, your best VIP repeat customer/clients (such as) them, and of course their really close friends and immediate family members etc;they are all welcome to test out your shop, at least three times as well!

For one low- extremely time sensitive- set price! Because remember, whether these potential new first time customers, decide to stick around long term or not! They’ll still be a walking talking billboard showcasing your product everywhere they go! 😎

So create some type of special extremely time sensitive VIP new customer only, gift certificates for them to give away as (house warming gifts) to new home buyers they recently sold a home, and or investment property to!

They could also give your time sensitive gift certificates to their Mom , daughter, daughter in law, Mother in law, sister, aunt, boss, bosses wife, (bosses- live in significant other, their brother’s wife, and or brother’s new girlfriend, niece, nephews wife, and or nephews girlfriend, grand daughter, best friends, all of the above etc!

Entrepreneur, do you see “how” once you get this ball truly rolling, you could literally be systematically keeping warm bodies in your chairs 24/7? Say yes! Great!

Because in part three, you’re also going to discover “how” extremely savvy entrepreneurs such as yourself, literally put a rather simple daisy chain strategy like this on even more power marketing steroids! Til then.

  3. Hi Mark,

Superb piece, thorough and thoughtful, coming to JV point, if its about Partnership, I would just avoid it, I had some really bad experience in terms of that, your partner won’t listen and worst of all will send you this guy that guy (nepotism) to hire and those guys won’t know a jot about business or whatever your partner intends them to be hired for.

Second whenever you want to take things your way the supposedly sleepy partner will all of sudden gets active and disrupt the whole thing… partnership/jv is such a bad bad BAD idea! won’t recommend it until you are a lawyer and pretty good one!

Thanks for sharing, gplused it! Would love to connect with you on gplus! 🙂

    • I hear you Jesse, but you’re probably selling yourself short!

As long as you’re bringing value to the table, there is someone
you can potentially form some sort of JV (joint venture) arrangements with!

Start small, get your feet wet with a few smaller arrangements first!

So you’ll have a much better and far clearer understanding of what can
      and might go wrong!

That way you’ll have a much better understanding of how to resolve it
and profit even more because of it!!

Initially rely on your thought and goodwill currency and less on your actual currency
in your pocket and or bank account and you’ll be fine!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing your thoughts!

  7. Mark,

I read this post last month and was attracted to it again tonight. After re-reading my previous comment, I am amazed to realize it has happened again. I attempted to create something with a colleague, I spent hours typing up what we had discussed in our hour long meetings, and then I spent many more hours adding to it. Then, the other person explained that meeting once/week was becoming too difficult.

Many people have no idea how much hard work and time is necessary to get something off the ground. Just creating a power point can take many hours – and for a course that lasts a few weeks, several power points are needed. Then there is all the work of sending out emails and promoting on social media. There are all the follow up emails, etc., etc.

So at this point I am ready to just create my own webinars and products without relying upon anyone else. I seem to have more drive and stick to itiveness than most of the people I know. They want to go out and play, take vacations, relax. I want to do the work now – and relax later – after the product or products are created and moving.

    • Bingo Dr.Erica!

You’ve touched on two very important factors, going forward!

And BTW, I thought it was just me that spent hours struggling with Power Point!LOL!Anyway..

First and foremost! Since you definitely are an extremely talented and gifted
      practitioner, and extremely hard worker!

So going forward,it’s probably best that you create a few minor litmus test that
any potential future collaborators and or JV partners has to pass first, before you commit any significant time
      and or resources etc.

And if they can’t and or are aren’t willing to commit to (meaning perform), then the most you’ll
be out of is a little pre discover time!

But far more important (in my opinion) anyway,is your second aha moment! Going forward,my dear with all
your drive, enormous skills, abilities and extreme commitment to seeing things through etc!

You simply are continually selling your enormous abilities way too short,by not as you mentioned,
simply organizing and being in control of your own events!Period!

And that way,as you’ve already pointed out,you can maintain complete control at all times!

And if you’ll allow me,here’s one particular-potential-long range marketing strategy, that I hope you’ll
      seriously consider looking into!

A WordPress paid membership site of some kind! That way, any and all live offline events you promote
and or are a part of, you can record them and archive them in your site!

And then as you reach out for future interviews of any kind with other experts
      for additional content.

Whether they ever come through or not, it won’t matter because you can always simply keep
adding your very own original content as often as you like! Things like Power Point presentations,
      audios and video clip etc!

And just offer your more advanced, personalized one on one private sessions to any active paid members, at
      a nice discount!

So it’s sort of an incentive to join your paid site and remain a paid member.

And of course with your vast knowledge of marketing, you can also bribe them with other free bonus goodies
for buying any paid private sessions, while they’re a paid member of your membership site!

And I’d bet over time as the other (far less) marketing savvy therapist see the success of your
paid membership site, they’d want access to your ever growing audience as well!

In which case, they’d grant and full those interview obligations and create or pay to have completed their
Power Point and PDF files and or ebooks etc!

In order to have them showcased for free inside your site!LOL! Now it’s far less important if they
never follow through, because they won’t be standing in your way any longer!

Just a thought, but I seriously hope you’ll kick it around!Plus, remember, every time you advertise any future on
or offline paid events, your paid membership site members always get advanced notice and discounted pricing!LOL!

And you might only charge anywhere from $27- $47 dollars per month! Because what you really want is the back end
more advanced one on one and or group session therapy business!

Please let me know “what” you ultimately come up with and if I can ever be of any help with
brainstorming any type of marketing ideas!LOL!

I’m in it for free, I just want another glowing testimonial!LOL!

  9. Mark,

    Another valuable post.

I have discovered that we truly do need each other. None of us can really do it all alone. We need assistance. With a big budget, we can hire lots of people to do it all for us and maybe even sit back and watch the money roll in. But with a small or miniscule budget, we have to work harder and be more creative, but success IS possible.

For me, working with others is what stimulates my creative thinking. I love dialoguing and planning a project or an event. And when we pool our resources we can often accomplish so much more.

However, as you said early in your article, joint ventures also involve some risk. I have had lots of experience where I am doing the lion share of the work and then when it comes to promotion, the other person leaves that to me also. So it really becomes me doing most of the hard work and then sharing the meager profits with someone who did not pull their own load.

But when I partner with someone who does do as much as I do, whammo, we can hit a homerun. And we can have fun all along the way.

    • I’ve definitely bee there and done that too Dr. Erica!LOL!

And like you say,it’s as if you’re attempting to push a car up hill when
      that happens!

But like you say, when we creatively pool our resources and play off each others strengths!

It often comes together in such an extremely beneficial way for all concerned!

I guess unfortunately, it’s partially a numbers game as well, with regards to really effective collaborations!

As always thanks so much for adding value to the conversation! Your extremely valuable feedback
is always welcome and so greatly appreciated!
